This lovely car is one of the last models to be made carrying the Daimler badge.

When you think "Daimler", you should not be thinking of one of those large cumbersome chariots you seem to see only at weddings and funerals, but of the very latest slinky Jaguar saloon in which all self-respecting British dignitaries can be seen today.

Finished in cranberry red metallic paintwork, with buff leather interior and plenty of vanity mirrors, this ultra-smooth V12 saloon comes with all those little extra luxuries of its time including air-conditioning, which is a must for summer weddings, enabling the bride’s Mother plus up to 3 bridesmaids to coolly arrive with makeup intact, but with a sun roof for that feeling of freedom.

This car is based near Watlington in Oxfordshire and is available and fully insured for weddings at a charge of £250 for 4 ½ hours base to base.

There is a surcharge for distances of over 50 miles round trip, of £1.00 per mile. For longer events, allow a further £40 per half hour over 4 ½ hours.

She comes complete with cream satin ribbons and chilled Pannier pink champagne (usually consumed after the service, although we can make exceptions!) is available at £23.00 for a half bottle or £40 for a bottle.

If the Daimler is hired in conjunction with the Buick convertible, we can offer both cars at a discounted rate of £500, although the surcharges will apply to each car individually at their respective rates.
